If you have time, tell us a bit more about you and why you decided to join this network
Hannes Johnson is a PhD student in the Sustainable Ship Propulsion group at Chalmers University of Technology, financed by the Swedish Energy Agency. His research interests lies in the fields of energy efficiency management, strategy and policy. He graduated from Chalmers in 2008 with a M.Sc. in Engineering physics.

He is also managing a joint industry project on improving management practices and strategies for increasing energy efficiency in shipping companies. A key component is the implementation of an energy management system according to EN 16001 or the upcoming ISO 50001 in two Swedish shipping companies.
